Welcome to Oxford Shakespeare Festival’s Tenth Anniversary Reunion Season – a celebration of summer theatre at The University of Mississippi and Oxford.
This summer’s slate features Shakespeare’s clever and poetic “wordplay” comedy, LOVE’S LABOUR’S LOST, and his darkest tragedy, with its chilling characters that web a psychological supernatural thriller, MACBETH. Our family production is Jerry Herman’s and Michael Stewart’s beloved musical hit based on Thornton Wilder’s The Matchmaker, HELLO DOLLY!, starring our own beloved Mary Donnelly Haskell as the meddling Dolly Levi.
OSF continues to build on the support of our faithful sponsors:
Without their generous support, OSF would not have been possible these 10 years.
Our sixth annual Gertrude Ford Symposium (free and open to the public) will be held at the new Khayat Law School Auditorium, followed by a reception in the atrium.
The Festival was created ten years ago with you, the public, in mind. You are why we have designed, directed, built, and performed. We hope you will join us for this summer’s OSF from June 14th through July 7th in the exquisite Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts and the intimate Meek Hall Auditorium, as we celebrate theatre in Mississippi.
I thank you for your continued patronage!
